LIVINGSTON PARISH PUBLIC Schools
early childhood community network partners
Thank you to everyone who applied for a 4-year-old Pre-K spot in our public schools. All Phase 1 applicants will receive a letter either via email or USPS letting you know if your child was accepted or denied a spot during the week of June 15th.
If you have any questions about the letter you receive, please contact the school who sent the letter to you.
If you applied at more than one school, please know that your application may be directed to your home-based school for eligibility to be determined.
Schools will be attempting to contact all applicants for any documents that may be missing and instructions on how they would like you to submit those documents since eligibility can not be determined unless the application is complete.
If your child is income eligible but placed on a waiting list, you may be contacted later if a spot becomes available at any school. If your child is not income eligible and is placed on a waiting list, you may be contacted after Labor Day if a tuition paying spot becomes available at any school.
We will begin accepting applications again for Phase 2 beginning June 22, 2020 and will continue throughout the school year. Because our schools' office staff members do not work throughout the summer, please contact your home-based school to find out how they are accepting Phase 2 applications. Click HERE for a list of our schools.
Parents should only apply (on-campus or email) with their home-based school ONE TIME. If the home-based school does not have a Pre-K class, they may apply at another school.
Click HERE to get the list of school email addresses for Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration. Phase 1 applications will be accepted June 1-June 5. Phase 2 will open on June 22.
If parents are emailing documents to apply for Pre-K instead of going on-campus, they should email the following:
Pre-K Acknowledgement Letter (click HERE)
Child's birth certificate
Child's social security card
Child's shot records (if available)

2 current consecutive proofs of income for all adults who live in the household and/or support the child (examples of acceptable proofs are listed under the Documents Needed tab).
